The very last thing we did on our Disney World vacation was to get Scarlett's First Haircut at Harmony Barber Shop. This little barber shop on Main Street at the Magic Kingdom offers a first haircut package for $18. Since Scarlett had never had a haircut, we thought this would be a great place to get one!
We were able to get a last minute appointment right before we left home so we didn't have to wait at all.
Scarlett was a little nervous, but the stylists must be used to this since they immediately gave her a spinning Minnie Mouse and about a thousand stickers.

This stuff kept her quite happy while they snipped off her baby hair and made a nice even style.
They topped off her cute new cut with a pair of Mickey Ears that have "First Haircut" embroidered on the back. So adorable!!
Of course, this was not the end. After seeing all the girls around the park who had been given Princess Make-overs at the Bibbidi Bobbidi Boutique, Scarlett was eager to get her own "Princess hair." Not a problem! The stylist put her hair in an updo decorated with "Pixie Dust." (She did wonder why she couldn't fly with pixie dust in her hair - we just told her she only got a little bit.)
The whole thing was quick and fun, with Scarlett ending up looking pretty cute in the end. They gave us a first haircut certificate and the little bits of hair they cut off were put into a Mickey bag for us to keep. I'm so glad we heard about this special service. It was a great experience!
Princess Scarlett was quite happy with her new look!
